Speech Day: why am I essential to the cell?

Lifeboat Dilemma update: Speech Day!

Students had to read their speeches to other “cell parts” and the boat captain was in charge of asking questions to clear doubts and check if the research was well done.

Not only the boat captain but also other team members had to choose the strongest speech and compare theirs to it. This helped students analyze the level of detail their own speeches showed.

Tomorrow: review cell drawings, labels, functions + how parts work together to maintain the cell working

Don’t forget we’ll have an assessment on Wednesday!

To do list: 1) Add your speech to your blog/portfolio. 2) Bring doubts to class. 3) Study for assessment on Wed.
